Refund policy
At Layman's Flame, we strive to ensure you love your custom-made products. As we partner with Printify, a print-on-demand service, all items are created uniquely for each order. Please read our return and refund policy carefully to understand your options.
1. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds
We offer returns or refunds under the following conditions:
- Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items: If your product arrives damaged, misprinted, or not as described (e.g., wrong design or item), we’ll provide a free replacement or full refund if reported within 30 days of delivery.
- Lost in Transit: If your order is confirmed lost by the shipping carrier, we’ll provide a free replacement or refund, provided the issue is reported within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
- Customer Errors: Due to the custom nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for orders placed with the wrong size, color, or design, or if you change your mind. However, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to assist.
- Non-Returnable Items: Perishable goods, intimate or sanitary items, hazardous materials, or digital products are not eligible for return.
2. How to Initiate a Return or Refund
To request a return or refund:
- Contact us at laymansflame@laymansflame.com within 30 days of delivery (or estimated delivery for lost items).
- Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos showing the damage, defect, or error. For multiple items with the same issue, include a photo of all affected items in one frame.
- We’ll review your request and respond within 5 business days with next steps.
Note: For defective or incorrect items, you do not need to return the product unless specified. For approved returns, you may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the issue is due to our or Printify’s error.
3. Refund Process
If approved, refunds will be processed as follows:
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method or as store credit, depending on your preference.
- Processing typically takes 5 business days after approval, though it may vary based on your payment provider.
- If you paid in a non-USD currency, the refund will be converted using the same exchange rate as the original purchase, which may differ from current rates.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
4. Exchanges
As our products are custom-made, we do not offer direct exchanges for customer errors (e.g., wrong size or color). If you’d like a different item, you may place a new order. For defective or incorrect items, we’ll provide a free replacement upon approval.
5. Return Shipping
- For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, we or Printify will cover return shipping costs if a return is required.
- For other returns (if accepted at our discretion), you are responsible for shipping costs to our return address: Contact us for the return address
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service for items over $75, as we are not responsible for lost returns.
6. Additional Notes
- Custom Orders: Personalized or custom-designed items are non-returnable unless defective or incorrect.
- Sale Items: Sale items are eligible for refunds only if defective or incorrect.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or order confirmation is required for all returns.
